Our story begins in Lacona, on Margidore Beach
Free Time — Windsurf School & Rent Boats was born from Andrea's passion for the sea of Elba Island. For years we've been welcoming visitors and locals to Margidore Beach, in Lacona (Capoliveri), with one simple goal: to let you experience the sea the way we do — freely and safely.
Our story
The Free Time rental-and-school is set in the central stretch of Margidore Beach, a 400-metre bay overlooking the Stella Gulf, just 5 km from Portoferraio. The beach, tucked inside the Tuscan Archipelago National Park, is made of multicoloured gravel and sand with black-green serpentine and is one of the 13 Elba beaches awarded the Three Sails by the Blue Guide. Andrea and his team have been running the boat fleet, canoes, pedal boats, SUPs and windsurf school for years, with the same passion as day one.
